is called......
IBEKU EGWU ASAA ORGANIZATION
OF NY-NJ-CT,USA
.... is one of the branches
of Ibeku Organizations in USA
and all over the world. This branch ,NY-NJ-CT,gets its membership from
these three
states and others from within a reasonable radius ,this include
those with not enough members
to form a chapter.
Our Mission as an Organization is to help get memberships and make a
good
representation of as the sons and daughters of Ibeku. We do
invite
comments from allover to help us. We want to improve , project
and
tell of our Igbo Cultural heritage. We are a society of culture. We
have
a tradition of our own

We,
the
NY-NJ-CT, hosted the I
BEKU NATIONAL ASSOCIATION [ INA
] Convention
of 2004 in Elizabeth New Jersey. This Convention was by the Ibeku
indigents
that are in the USA. Chapters and other members, invited guests do get
together
yearly in the form on conventions. Both those at home
and
abroad outside the homeland attended this gathering..See and visit

e are from Abia State, in the Eastern part of Nigeria.
Umuahia, which is the Capital of Abia state is called umuahia
Ibeku reflecting
the location of this great state capital and its heritage. When
we
click ABIA STATE
GOVT OFFICIAL , we see a representation of all our
people from all over
the state and the Ibeku people too. All the regions that are around
Ibeku
are the Old bende,New Bende, Ukwa, Ngwa, Ohohu, Arochukwu, Ohafia,
Ovim, Uturu. Abia South, Abia North, Abia Central . Ibeku is in the
middle
of the state called ABIA.

We are
giving you more information about our famous sons and daughters that
have made us proud. Ibeku has children that have gotten to the top of
what they set out to do. We bring to you some these great ones.

did
loose one of its sons a few years ago. As a medical practitioner, and
politician, he did his best to give direction in a static situation.

vents that happened need to be told. Ibeku has its own share of it's
stories
and leading factors. We have the stories before and after the
advent
of slave traders in Old Bende. Those Missionaries came and went with
their
forms of administrators and administration that did wonders. They
bought
and took away lands.They did impositions. These are all very recent
in
dates .

in the form of clans and villages.

beku being in Umuahia North Local Govt. political division, has
neigbours Being a peace loving tribe, Ibeku has not made war
with these friend, inlaws in recent history.. umuahia Ibeku being a
central
place both in terms of geography and commerce. We have always worked
well
with others. To our south are the clans of Olokoro, Old-Umuahia,
Amakama.
Ubakala. East is Oboro. to our West are Umuokpara and Ohuhu. Then
the North are Uzuakoli, Abiriba,

Umuahia ibeku is about 575 feet above the sea level. The two
